TERMS & CONDITIONS

• PRICES SHOWN ARE CORRECT AS OF 1st OCTOBER 2022 AND DO NOT INCLUDE VAT OR ANY GOVERNMENT CHARGES (i.e. Central London Congestion Charge / Low Emission Zone) - please add at current rate.  Mileage also to be added and is calculated from Kempsey, Worcestershire and is currently 45p per mile (HMRC Guidelines).  If travel is greater than 2 hours, an overnight accommodation charge may be added;
• Any discounts must be applied for at time of booking, and may not be applied for retrospectively.
• The minimum course rate is indicated in the highlighted column, together with the class size that price will accommodate (in brackets).  PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE COST PER CLASS AND NOT PER STUDENT.  This is also the deposit for the course;
• No course placement is confirmed until receipt of payment;
• Face-to-face courses - If you cancel a totally face-to-face course in writing with more than 3 weeks notice, no charge will be made and the deposit refunded (minus an administration fee of £25). If the course is cancelled or postponed within 21 days of the course start date, a fee will be charged according to the following sliding scale:
• 50% of the course fee / deposit if cancelled / postponed within 15-21 days preceding the course start date;
• 75% of the course fee / deposit if cancelled / postponed within 7-14 days preceding the course start date;
• 100% of the course fee / deposit if cancelled / postponed within a week `(7 days including Saturday and Sunday) preceding the course start date
• Prices shown are correct as of 1st February 2021
• Blended learning courses -   Prior to attending the face-to-face day attendees MUST COMPLETE the online session (part 1) within the 6 weeks BEFORE the practical (Part 2) session.  If attendees attend the practical session without having successfully completed the online session first, they will not be allowed to attend part 2 and will have to re-book (with no refund applicable).
• If you cancel the course after having received the online session you will only be eligible for 50% refund if greater than 2 weeks before the face-to-face session.  If you cancel your place within 14 days of the face-to-face (part 2)  date  a fee will be charged according to the following sliding scale:
• 75% of the cost of the placement(s) if cancelled within 7-14 days preceding the course start date;
• 100% of the cost of the placement(s) if cancelled within 7 days preceding the course start date;
• Failure of a delegate to complete the online session will result in them not being able to attend the face-to-face session. An alternative open course may be offered - a fee may be applied.and they may be required to re-do the online session.
• In mitigating circumstances and at our discretion, we may waive these charges;
• For the Junior Save-a-Life course adult supervision must be provided by the course organiser;
• Payment terms for on-site courses are 3o days from issue of invoice or 21 days before the course start date (whichever is sooner);
• Class sizes less than the minimum class size indicated will be charged at the minimum class-size rate;
• If additional students subsequently attend they will be charged at the "cost per further person" rate;
• The final column indicates the cost per class for the Early Bird full class size (maximum student numbers in brackets).  This price is only available at the time of initial course booking.  If payment is not received within the date indicated on the invoice - the price will revert to the deposit and normal "per person" rate;
• Certificates will not be issued until payment is received in full;
• The prices quoted are those for an instructor to train on a client's premises.  If you wish to send individual candidates / attend as an individual, we currently hold "open" courses (open to anyone) at venues around the country.  For further details (including dates and venues) look at our "open course" page;
• Classes greater than the maximum class size indicated may be accommodated but will require a second instructor. Therefore adequate notice needs to be given. Availability for this is not guaranteed until confirmation is sent in writing. Contact office for price;
